CASA OPRIS Guesthouse is located in Călinești, in Maramureș County, a blessed area with beautiful landscapes, hardworking and friendly people, a rural space where nature and locals have created a story that travels overseas and horizons, of a land that is: authentic, lasting for centuries, where wood turned into masterpieces (churches, houses, gates and everything you need in a household), where life flows at a slow pace, away from the hustle of the city and the morning is announced only by the song of the roosters and the chirping of the birds.

You are invited to spend a weekend or a full vacation in such a magical place! The Opriș family, Petru and Elena, are waiting for you in their house and ready to offer 16 accommodation places in 7 rooms, equipped with everything you need to relax, a spacious garden with swing and hammock – a place where children can play freely, a gazebo and a children playground.

And because the people of Maramureș are famous for their hospitality, here you will be happily served with traditional dishes prepared from local ingredients or even from the hosts’ household. From the pension you will be able to start hiking in nature on marked routes or you will simply be able to discover on foot the charm of the Maramures village. The location is close to the other attractions of the Historic Maramureș: The Merry Cemetery, Săpânța Peri Monastery, Pain Memorial in Sighetu Marmației, Mocănița in Viseu de Sus.
