Casa Moroșenească is located in Sat-Șugatag on a property situated in a special natural setting, on the road that accesses the protected area Turbăria Iezerul Mare and which separates from DN18 at approximately 21 km. by Sighetu Marmației.

The spacious, traditionally decorated rooms will give you all the comfort you need for an unforgettable holiday. You will be able to relax in the huge garden full of fruit trees or on the shore of the small lake on the property.

The hosts, hardworking people will welcome you with the hospitality specific to Maramureș and with a glass of „horincă”, the traditional way in which guests are expected on these lands. The dishes served are prepared according to traditional recipes, from local ingredients or from their own household. After dinner you will be able to spend quality time, at a campfire in the specially arranged space, and the children will be safe in the outdoor play area, specially designed for the little ones.

From here, you will be able to start hiking on marked trails or you will simply be able to discover the charm of the Maramures village on foot. A short distance away, in Desești, is the UNESCO monument church, an occasion for spiritual enrichment.
