Casa Măriuca Pension is located in Văleni, in an area where nature, traditions and customs combine in a harmonious way, to create a unique space in Romania. Discover 7 rooms designed in a traditional style, a dining / conference room for 50 people, billiard room, a rustic living room, outdoor terrace and private parking.

The hosts offer accommodation and half boarding with local dishes, prepared with much care.

Rememorate your grandparents’ time, in the Dowry Room – observe the traditional decorations and furniture or even wear the traditional local costumes, all part of an unforgettable experience.

The pension is located in the ecotourism destination of Eco Maramureș. Learn more about the marked hiking and cycling trails in the area (part of a more active tourism, in the heart of nature). Begin your hike on mountain trails, towards the Cocoșului Ridge in the Gutâi Mountains, visit the Tatar Gorges or take a comforting walk through the Crăiască Forest. The hosts provide informative materials, maps, brochures, guides, leaflets and detailed information about what can be discovered in the surroundings. The cultural richness of the area, reflected in the wooden houses, gates and churches, all created by skilled craftsmen, can transform a simple walk through the streets of the village into an excursion into the past – in these lands, life has an ancient rhythm!
