DESCRIPTION

Pension Armonia, located in the village of Văleni, in an area with ancient traditions and customs, offers an excellent setting for spending holidays, vacations or weekends.

Remote but still in the heart of the village, this pension offers the necessary accommodation for a relaxing stay. Modernly furnished, in harmony with the traditional motifs of Maramures, the pension has double rooms, TV and private bathrooms. The ground floor hosts a living room lit by a fireplace, an extremely spacious dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Three of the five rooms have a balcony, and the dining area on the ground floor has access to the terrace. The guest house has a large courtyard, perfect for barbecues with friends or family, in a pleasant atmosphere.

Because in Maramureş the traditions have not yet been forgotten, the hosts of the pension provide visits to an old, traditional wooden house, where you can wear peasant clothes and enjoy an unforgettable photo session.

Take a walk on the neighboring streets and quietly discover the charm of the Maramures village. Maramureș is also famous for the skill of its craftsmen in the art of wood carving, therefore we invite you for a relaxing stroll to see and photograph “Fusul de la Văleni”, a true work of traditional art, located not far from the pension, on Dealul Babelor.

In the ecotourism destination of Eco Maramureș (where the pension is located), you can find several hiking and cycling routes. Make the most of your time here and visit the following landmarks: Gutâi Mountains and Rooster’s Ridge, Tăurile Chendroaiei, Cheile Tătarului, Tăurile de la Hoteni, Pădurea Crăiască and the salt lakes from Ocna Șugatag.
