Who we are

The ecotourism destination Mara-Cosău-Creasta Cocoşului is supported by a local partnership that includes representatives of protected area administrators, local public authorities, NGOs dedicated to sustainable development or nature conservation and representatives of the private sector.

Our goal: to develop, together with locals and tourists who are our guests, a responsible tourism based on respect for the natural and cultural values of this unparalleled place in the world – to preserve its patrimonial values so that we may pass them on to the generations to come, just as we have received them ourselves from our forebears.

The EcoLogic Association hosts the Destination Management Unit and ensures the implementation of commonly agreed development measures.

The Association of Ecotourism in Romania and WWF Romania support the activity of the local partnership with expertise and have an advisory role in the field of ecotourism and nature protection.
