In the Eco Maramureș area you can camp at Babou Maramureș in the village of Breb — one of the most beautiful and traditional villages in Maramureș, at the foot of the Gutâi Mountains.
What Babou offers
- camping with a tent or camper van in a garden of about 7,000 m²: 10 pitches for around 40 people;
- chairs, hammocks, a picnic area and places for a campfire;
- free WiFi and private parking;
- pets are welcome;
- bicycles for rent, at extra cost;
- the hosts speak English and Dutch.

What to do from here
