Natural heritage
The Rooster's Crest, the remnant of a volcanic crater, can be seen from dozens of kilometres away. Around it lie Morărenilor Lake, the Chendroaiei Ponds, the Tătarului Gorges and the Iezerul Mare peat bog, and near Ocna Șugatag, the Royal Forest and the Hoteni Lakes.
