Șuior Cota 1000

A place you will want to come back to, because here the mountain, the water and the forest are the very definition of peace. The three chalets — Gutâi, Țibleș and Pietrosu, named after the best-known mountains of Maramureș — add comfort and well-being for everyone who comes up to Cota 1000.
Each chalet has 5 double rooms and a spacious living room where guests can relax.
Two of the five rooms in each chalet also have a „prici" (a bed tucked under the roof) that sleeps 2 more people.
All rooms have rustic furniture, a minibar, a smart LED TV, cable TV and a shower.
Cota 1000 can only be reached by the chairlift from the base station or by 4x4 vehicle. In summer and winter alike, guests looking for another kind of relaxation have three „traditional jacuzzis" at their disposal, as each chalet has its own wooden hot tub. At Cota 1000, the conference room keeps the rustic character of the place. It seats 60 and has modern equipment: video projector, projection screen, flipchart, audio-video system and fixed microphones. Șuior also offers several bike trails built specially for downhill mountain biking (Downhill/Enduro).
These trails were built specifically for this purpose by experienced riders from the local community who, in partnership with Șuior Resort, wanted to help mountain biking grow in the county. As they are downhill trails, they start from Cota 1000, which you reach by chairlift — you can take your bike up safely on special carriers provided by the chairlift staff. Two renovated tennis courts with modern changing rooms can be rented, both for leisure and for tennis tournaments.
Summer and winter fun park: the fun park at Cota 1000 offers exciting and spectacular options all year round.
In winter, besides the 130 m beginners' slope with a state-of-the-art conveyor belt, the park is a place of fun for non-skiers too. It has a 150 m straight tubing track, a 120 m winding track and a jump with a landing on a BIGAIRBAG.
In summer the adrenaline stays, as the 120 m winding tubing track and the BIGAIRBAG jump are just as spectacular. The little ones can also romp on a 21 m long, 5 m wide inflatable with a climbing wall and multiple obstacles.
A few steps from the park at Cota 1000 there is a paintball ground, laid out over a generous area with plenty of natural cover as well as purpose-built features. Try a game of paintball at least once, for relaxation and plenty of adrenaline — we provide all the equipment you need and explain the rules. Take friendly revenge on your friends, or even your boss, in a duel where relaxation and fun are the winners, then head to the terrace and the pontoon for a cold beer.

After dinner, under the moonlight, perhaps to the sound of a guitar and with a glass of wine, you can dream, sing and forget your worries while watching the flames. It is a way to feel forever young — and part of our mountain-top story.
